Milo Maurer.

Milo Maurer is a singer-songwriter and producer based in the Bay Area, chasing a sound somewhere between Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran, and a Duran Duran record you find at a thrift store in 1984. He writes, produces, mixes and masters his own records in Logic Pro.

Milo Maurer started playing piano at eight, reading sheet music without understanding a single note of it and feeling his way through instead. That instinct never left. He now builds songs from the ground up in Logic Pro: writing, producing, mixing, mastering, all of it.

He studied at UC Berkeley and did coursework at Berklee Online, sharpening the rest of the craft learning from producers like Louis Bell and Ian Kirkpatrick.

He wrote his single Somewhere Next to You in his dorm room at UC Berkeley, practicing fingerpicking on acoustic guitar with Pat Pattison’s Writing Better Lyrics open beside him. It is a song about friendship, and it is out now.
