Singer, songwriter, producer, and the guy who’s been chasing a sound somewhere between Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran, and a Duran Duran record you find at a thrift store in 1984.
I started playing piano at eight — reading sheet music without understanding a single note, just feeling my way through. That instinct never left. These days I build songs from the ground up in Logic Pro: writing, producing, mixing, mastering, all of it.
I studied at UC Berkeley, did coursework at Berklee Online, and sharpened the rest learning from producers like Louis Bell and Ian Kirkpatrick.
I wrote “Somewhere Next to You” in my dorm room at UC Berkeley, practicing fingerpicking on my acoustic guitar with Pat Pattison’s Writing Better Lyrics open beside me. It’s a song about friendship.
